Since the Upper Room Mission was established in 1980, it has been focused on caring for people struggling with homelessness, poverty and isolation. The Mission has been there to help people in their crisis by providing for their basic needs of food, clothing and a safe place of belonging. This work is vital to ensure people survive.

In our daily work, we are guided by Mathew 25:35-36, 40; “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me … Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Our mission is to daily care for and improve the lives of people living in poverty, homelessness or addiction in our community.

Our vision is to help people exit poverty, homelessness, and addiction.
