Feb 2024 prayer

February Prayer Requests

Philemon 1:4-5 – I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of your faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints (God’s people).

For the month of February, please join us in prayer that God would touch the lives of our guests with His love and grace, and for the staff at the Mission to be strengthened and encouraged.

There are many stresses and challenges that our guests face daily. Often, their challenges and stresses are expressed in very unhealthy ways within our Mission and community. To maintain peace within the Mission, we often have to ask guests to leave the facility, and some are not allowed back in to use the services for an extended period. This is challenging on many fronts; they don’t get the services they desperately need, and yet we must consistently hold the line regarding inappropriate behaviour. As a result, our staff face daily stresses that make working in this environment difficult and challenging, and some of our guests experience the loss of much-needed services and community.

Your prayer support is vital to sustain, strengthen, and encourage our staff, and it helps to lift up our guests who struggle with life-debilitating habits and choices.

Prayer Points

  1. That God would continue to strengthen and encourage our staff, as we endeavour to do our best to love and serve our guests (friends).
  2. That God would bless the ministry, and that our guests would be encouraged to seek out help, find the resources they need, and to make life changing choices empowered by following Jesus.
  3. That God would continue to release His peace that surpasses all our understanding into the hearts and minds of our guests, staff, and volunteers.

Pray With Us

Father God, we come to You and thank You that You will never leave us or forsake us. We are all Your children, and You love us with an unending love. You sent Jesus to be the payment for our sins, and as we trust you for salvation, you not only save us for eternity, but you protect and deliver us from all evil, for You have come that we might have life and have it to the fullest.

We love and thank you, in Jesus’ name.

Amen.
