Please consider donating to the Upper Room Mission this Christmas season. There are many ways you help us make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable in our community.
A great way to participate in helping people in need is our Blessings Backpack program. On December 23rd, at our community Christmas dinner, we hope to give our guests a backpack for Christmas as a gift from our community. Last year we handed out 200 backpacks, and we hope we can do the same again this year.
Each year we host a special community Christmas dinner. We will host over 150 guests during this meal, and we would love your help to make this super special. You can donate a turkey or ham or give financially to this event and if you like to volunteer for this event, click the link below.
The weather is getting colder and colder, and we need warm supplies. We are looking for warm boots, snow pants, sleeping bags, tarps and tents to help those that live unsheltered lives. Check out our critical supply list for the things we need most.
Donate Your Empties
As you celebrate with friends and family this Christmas season, please consider donating your empty bottles and cans. We have a bottle depot at the Upper Room Mission, and we can receive donations of any recyclables when we are open.
This is the best way to support the Upper Room Mission. We provide various convenient giving options, including credit card donations and monthly giving opportunities, right here on our website. At the Upper Room Mission, we rely on our community’s generosity to help those in need. We are a registered Canadian Charity, and you will receive an official donation receipt for tax purposes.
